Armitage Williams used its well-honed skills in timber-framed heritage structures to return this iconic dwelling to its former glory.
Constructed in 1898 as a family home, the building was gifted to the Nurse Maude Association in 1949 and is currently used as an administrative centre with facilities for functions and entertainment. It was ravaged by the 2011 earthquakes, but the redevelopment has restored and strengthened the building.
