The brief was to restore the clubhouse—built originally in the 1860s—and build an iconic addition incorporating a new restaurant, bar, gymnasium and hotel-style accommodation.
The result is a sensitive balance between the traditional aspects of the original two-storey clubhouse and a contemporary addition using modern materials and techniques.
